Preliminary Conference Information Now Available

You and your colleagues are invited to join the 2005 SunGard Summit conference in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii, March 6-9. Although SCT Summit has been renamed SunGard Summit, the conference will be the same excellent forum for clients around the world to share information, learn about new solutions, and network with peers. At SunGard Summit, you will learn via hundreds of presentations and hands-on workshops, and through partner technology providers, colleagues from peer institutions, and featured speakers. We look forward to seeing you at SunGard Summit 2005.

To better serve you and our partners, SunGard SCT has launched a preliminary conference Web site. The site contains information about registration packages and fees, hotel rates, key dates, and other important details so you can begin making travel plans. You will notice that SunGard SCT has maintained conference fees for 2005 at the 2004 rates to help meet the budget requirements of your institution. Be sure to visit the Web site for specific information.

The official SunGard Summit Web site is open, enabling you to register, make hotel and travel reservations, and submit presentation proposals for next year’s conference. You are encouraged to register early to take advantage of the early-bird special package rate for additional savings. The deadline for early-bird registration is December 1, 2004.

If you would like to deliver a presentation at the conference, you must submit your session proposal for evaluation by October 1, 2004. Each year clients deliver hundreds of valuable sessions to attendees, sharing their knowledge and teaching other users how to maximize SunGard SCT solutions. If your proposal is accepted, you will receive a reduced registration fee of one-half the lowest package price.

This year’s featured speakers will add an element of inspiration and humor to your SunGard Summit experience. The conference keynote speaker will be Dewitt Jones, word-class photojournalist and lecturer. He is sure to deliver a high-energy and thought provoking presentation attendees will never forget. And, back by popular demand from SCT Summit 2004, is sociologist, author, lecturer, and educator Bertice Berry. She will host three personal development workshops.

The Partner Pavilion at SunGard Summit will include representatives from a number of our valued partners to share solution information with you and your colleagues. The pavilion provides a great opportunity to network and learn about products and services that will help you remain competitive in the higher education industry. The SunGard SCT booth in the pavilion will offer a number of theatre presentations, demonstrations, and solution packets.
